Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, LeBron James, NBA Playoffs, Damian Lillard KERS LOSE GAME 1 TO TRAILBLAZERS DESPITE LEBRON JAMES' EPIC GAME VS DAMIAN LILLARD – NBA PLAYOFFS
First of all, i wanted to give proper respect and proper credit where it was due, because watching carmelo anthony hitting clutch shots watching damien lillard do what he does during the end of the fourth quarter is absolutely remarkable to watch, even though he’s doing it against my Team, even though i’m a die, hard, laker fan, and even though it pains me that we still haven’t won our first playoff game in seven years. I have to give credit where credit is due. The portland trailblazers were not going to be an easy first round opponent and for all you know. I said this earlier in the video that i recorded that i have to release tomorrow. I wouldn’t be surprised if the portland trailblazers won this series and it’s not because of the lack of skill from the los angeles lakers behalf. It has more to do with the fact that the portland trailblazers have a huge advantage for the first time in nba history. They’Re in a situation where they’re going up against the first seed that not only do they match up against really well, but on top of that there is no home court advantage and the fact that there’s no home court advantage gives them a huge advantage here. Because you don’t have to be hearing the fans of staples center go absolutely crazy. Now guys before i jump into this analysis, make sure you drop a like subscribe and turn on my notifications, i’m, giving away multiple copies of nba2k21 on twitter and instagram.
Now that we got all that out of the way, cue, the intro man first thing that i need to bring to everyone’s attention is: you cannot be slandering lebron james, no one, slander, lebron james. The one reason why the biggest reason, at least, that the los angeles lakers lost this game was clearly because of danny green. All right, no jokes, aside, danny green had something to do with it, but the lakers were absolutely abysmal from three tonight. Lebron james was one for five. Anthony davis was zero for five danny green was two for eight kcp was zero for five kyle kuzma was one for five and alex caruso was over three. I mentioned this over and over again i mentioned it during the seating games. Right before the lakers even got into the playoffs, i said, rust was going to be a very real thing and it appears as though it is a very real thing. The lakers are just not hitting their shots and lebron james is putting the lakers in the phenomenal position to compete, he’s finding his teammates for wide open shots, but his teammates aren’t sinking those shots. Now let me take you, through all of the statistics, that you need to pay attention to anthony davis. 28 points off of 33 shooting from the field, and he had 17 free throws. He only made 12 of them damien lillard. On the other hand, 34 points 9 for 21 from the field made all 10 of his free throws.
Lebron james had 17 rebounds, 16 assists and 23 points and that’s kind of what i expected him to do. I didn’t expect him to come up, come out and put 40 point games. I did expect him to try to get his teammates involved as much as he could so i’m, not putting this game on the shoulders of lebron james rather i’m. Looking at players such as anthony davis, who was a 20 despite having two blocks, two steals and 11 rebounds that eight for 24 shooting was inexcusable missing. Five threes is also inexcusable, danny green, who was also 33 from the field, who did have some nice moments towards the end of the game, but also had tremendous mistakes i’m. Looking at you as well, but on the other hand, there is some stuff that i really liked seeing alex caruso did a pretty decent job in his limited role, he came up with three steals kcp as horrific as he was from offense. This guy went zero for nine from the field zero from five from three and had one point, but he also came up with three steals at the end of the day. The lakers just have to make their shots that’s. What i’m? Looking for them to do? Dwight howard and markeith morris had decent games, but at the end of the day, i think this all came down to the fact that the los angeles lakers didn’t play their best and the portland trailblazers probably played up to 60 percent of how potentially good that they Are i don’t know man? Let me know what you guys think about this game in the comment section down below.
Do you think that the blazers will be able to pull off the upset? The milwaukee bucks also lost to the orlando magic earlier, so it’s not like the lakers were the only top seed not to win, but it is concerning. Nevertheless – and these are different times than a usual nba season i’d like to hear what you guys have to say.
